Erykah Badu put her spin on Drake's "Hotline Bling" last year and now she's doing it with Kanye West's new joint "Real Friends." The singer put her spin on the track with a rendition she is calling "Trill Friends" and it's pretty damn good.

"Trill Friends" maintains the original production, which was handled by a team that included Kanye West, Boi-1da, Frank Dukes and Havoc of Mobb Deep. But Erykah Badu's sultry vocals put a whole new twist on the track as she makes it into her own creation. Eryakh Badu heavily borrows lyrics from Whodini's 1984 track "Friends" on this new track. Badu said in the Soundcloud description that this song was the result of her just messing around in the morning when she was supposed to be recording something else.

The release of "Trill Friends" also comes with the announcement that Erykah Badu has plans for a new mixtape called This $h!t Too Easy, though she acknowledges that it might not be the final name for the project.

This news of another Erykah Badu mixtape is sure to excite all of her fans as the singer has clearly been very busy in the studio as of late. Badu released the But You Caint Use My Phone mixtape last November hot off the buzz of the aforementioned "Hotline Bling" remix.

And as for Kanye West, the G.O.O.D. Music boss recently revealed that his much anticipated album SWISH would be released on Feb. 11. This news also came with the resurrection of his G.O.O.D. Friday series.
