Eric Bellinger Lives the Good Life in “Sometimes” Video
Eric Bellinger pulls up to his L.A. mansion in his beamer with suicide doors in the video for his track "Sometimes."
Eric explores his softer side as he sings that "Trap niggas fall in love sometimes" over chopped-n-screwed vocal samples and rattling snares. E.B. is gearing up to drop EBFP: An Acoustic Experience on Jan. 20, as well as Eric B. For President: Term 2 in the spring. He spoke about the vision behind the record and the video.
"With the stress our country is always under when deciding who’s best to lead us, I wanted to create an experience that would please the ears, eyes, and hearts of people, while showcasing my personal beliefs on who I think will serve our people best," Eric Bellinger explains. "In my opinion, to possess the level of outreach I have and not shed light on this matter would be irresponsible. I just want to do my part – my way.”
Bellinger adds, "So Cam, my videographer, and I woke up and decided to shoot a video last month. We took his handheld camera and a drone to our buddy's Airbnb. We headed out to the house on the hills before we even knew what song we were shooting. We came up with the song on the way there!"
The Grammy-winning artist kept busy towards the end of 2016 with a string of releases. In December, Eric Bellinger remixed Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles," filmed atop Lookout Mountain in L.A, and provided his twist to the holiday season with "Sex For Christmas." In November, Eric shared a video cover of Drake's "Fake Love," garnering over 1 million views on YouTube. Fans can stay tuned for EBFP: An Acoustic Experience and Eric B. For President: Term 2.
