Elon Musk Admits Having Azealia Banks in His Home Following Initial Denial
It turns out at least part of Azealia Banks' story about being at Elon Musk's home for a weekend and witnessing some wild stuff is now being corroborated. After initially saying he's never laid eyes on the Harlem rapper, the tech mogul is now admitting to seeing Banks at his home.
In an interview with The New York Times, published on Friday (Aug. 17), the Tesla co-founder said he saw Banks for a brief moment from a distance, but there was no interaction. “I saw her on Friday morning, for two seconds at about a 30-foot distance as she was leaving the house,” Musk said in the Times interview. “I’d just finished working out. She was not within hearing range. I didn’t even realize who it was. That’s literally the only time I’ve ever laid eyes on her.”
This far from the story that Banks told upon leaving the billionaire's home. According to the "Treasure Island" rapper, she stayed at Musk's home for a weekend to work on music with the entrepreneur's girlfriend, singer Grimes. Things didn't go quite as planned.
"I waited around all weekend while grimes coddled her boyfriend," Banks said in a now-deleted Instagram Story. She added, "staying in Elon musks house has been like a real [life] episode of Get Out."
Banks claims Musk was doing acid and acting erratically after sending out a Tweet about making his Tesla company private. "His dumbass kept tweeting and tucked his dick in between his ass cheeks once shit hit the fan," she added.
Musk initially denied ever seeing Banks, with his spokesperson giving a statement that, "Elon has never even met Ms. Banks or communicated with her in any way." They have, however, continued to deny any drug use was involved.
