While Drake has well-established himself as a pop culture staple through his work as a Grammy Award-winning recording artist, fans will never forget how he made his first foray into entertainment—and as it turns out neither has the New York City Parks Department.

Surprisingly enough, the Toronto native has been included in a rendering of a new renovation plan to improve Brooklyn parks, with the rapper's Degrassi character, Jimmy, appearing in the proposal. The disabled teen, portrayed by Drizzy in the early aughts, can be seen on an entrance ramp for the Fort Green Park, while sitting in his distinctive wheelchair. Fans looking closely have also pointed out that Akon was included in the scene as well, with the rendering of the veteran recording artist laughing on the right in the image's foreground.

When approached for a comment, the agency spokesperson didn't hesitate to explain the surprise guest appearance, utilizing lyrics from the 6 God's famous catalog.

"Started at the bottom of Fort Greene Park’s signature hill, now we’re here with the final design, which takes care to create a more welcoming park entrance – with improved views," spokesman Sam Biederman stated in an email to the NY Post.

As reported, the rendering of Drake and Akon appears on page 52 of a 59-slide presentation that was released by the Department earlier this week, on Tuesday (Sept. 19).

Once Drake solidified himself as one of the most popular rappers in the game, images of his Degrassi character, which the Internet has dubbed "Wheelchair Jimmy" or "Wheelchair Drake" went viral, with the memes pairing lyrics from his rap career with images from his early days as an actor on the Canadian teen drama.

Most recently, Drake has been mourning the loss of his friend and OVO affiliate, Fif, commemorating his life with a tribute tattoo, while also adding a new portrait of one of his favorite actors, Denzel Washington.
