Dave East drops the video for his song "Slow Down" featuring  Jazzy Amra. The song is off of East's last project, Kairi ChanelThe video, which is directed by Fred Focus, tells the story of two young adults, both man and women, who go through some drama. In the first part of the video, viewers see a young man who succumbs to the streets after he's been shot on the corner where he sells drugs. The second part of the video finds a young woman who had a pregnancy scare.

"Growing up fast it took jail to make me slow down how I was moving so I just want the youth to pay attention to the way they living 'cause it can all change so quick," said Dave East to XXL through email.

The former XXL Freshman is gearing up to drop his Paranoia EP. Last week, he released "Perfect" featuring Chris Brown, the first single of the forthcoming project. Paranoia is schedule to drop off on Aug. 18 via Def Jam / Mass Appeal Records.

Paranoia will be Dave East first project since signing his major label deal with Def JamKairi Chanel was a huge success last year. The 15-track project, named after East’s daughter, contained features from Beanie Sigel, Cam’ron, Fabolous and more. Since then, he’s been dropping East-mixes of today’s hottest records such as The Weeknd’s “Party Monster,” Future’s “Mask Off” and Drake’s “Free Smoke.”
