Another day, another big win for Cardi B. On Thursday night (March 14), the Bronx-bred superstar took home the win for Hip-Hop Artist of the Year at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

In a field that included commercial juggernauts like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone and Travis Scott, Bardi's win is no small feat. It's also not really that surprising.

Just a bit less than a year ago, Cardi set the tone for 2018 by dropping off Invasion of Privacy, a breakout debut album that included hard-hitting bars and commercial-friendly music that established her as a legit superstar. Last month, that LP won her a gramophone for Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards. Now that she's got a new LP on the way, she could very well repeat the accomplishment next year.

While Hip-Hop Artist of the Year was definitely her biggest win of the night, Cardi also took home a big award for Best Collaboration for her "Finesse (Remix)” with Bruno Mars. Salute.

While Cardi couldn't make the awards show, she did set aside some time to record a video with her acceptance speech. In it, she thanks iHeartRadio, her fans and her haters.

"I'm sorry, iHeartRadio, that I couldn't make it … I was busy doing a couple things," Cardi said. "But I just want to say thank you so much to all my fans, to all my supporters and to all my haters."

"You know, I gotta thank my haters, you know what I'm saying. 'Cause y'all be saying mean things and y'all be thinking that those mean things is gonna discourage me but that just makes me go harder," Bardi continued. "Cause if everybody gives me compliments, then I get comfortable."

Half a day later, Bardi jumped onto Twitter where she posted an in-concert video of herself doing a split onstage to celebrate her W.
