Bhad Bhabie’s Pitch for 2018 XXL Freshman

Before the 2018 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer, the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th Spot voting has officially launched, which means hip-hop's rising newcomers are vying for a spot on the 2018 XXL Freshman cover.

Before Florida rapper Bhad Bhabie made her entry into hip-hop in late 2017, with her first track "These Heaux," she was known as Danielle Bregoli, the "Cash Me Ousside" girl. The moniker was thrown at her following an appearance on a 2016 episode of Dr. Phil, in which the troubled teen and her mother discussed their tumultuous relationship. The "Cash Me Ousside" meme took over the internet soon after, and a social media celebrity was born. But that wasn't enough for Danielle; she had a goal to start rapping.

Atlantic Records scooped her up in September of 2017, and when she dropped her official single, "Hi Bich," that same month, it was clear she was serious about a rap career—the video for the song currently sits at 83 million views. Bhad Bhabie hasn't backed down from the steady stream of haters since she stepped on the scene, and her "Hi Bich (Remix)" featuring Madeintyo, Rich The Kid and Asian Doll, in addition to tracks like "I Got It" and "Mama Don't Worry (Still Ain't Dirty)," are proof she can craft a bop.

Fans can witness her music live when she takes her show on the road for the Bhanned in the USA tour next month. When it comes to her presence in the game, even Lil Yachty's in her corner showing support.
