Bas popped out at the 2018 Woo Hah! Festival in The Netherlands on Sunday (July 15) with a special surprise. During his set, the "Clouds Never Get Old" rapper shared an unreleased verse from J. Cole.

A fan account re-posted footage of the moment on Instagram. Over chopped acoustic guitar, Cole spits about feeling jaded and hiding his true self from fans. The story behind the song is unclear, but it could land on Bas' forthcoming third album. The Dreamville signee released his last project Too High to Riot in 2016.

Bas' new album doesn't have a title or release date, but he has shared a few sneak peeks in recent weeks. "Pinball II," co-produced by Cole, dropped in April and serves as the album's lead single. He also released a tropical track with A$AP Ferg titled "Boca Raton" in June.

Dreamville label head J. Cole released his latest album KOD in April. The "ATM" rapper spent much of the promotional cycle feuding with Lil Pump before ultimately resolving the situation on good terms.

More recently, Cole has appeared on albums by Jay Rock and Royce 5'9". He also performed this past weekend at Woo Hah! Festival.
