Dreamville has been on fire in 2018, as J. Cole looks to take over this year with his roster of artists much like TDE shifted the hip-hop landscape in 2017. On Tuesday (April 10), the reserved Bas unveiled his new song "Pinball II," which features an appearance from the Los Angeles-based artist Correy C and a production assist from Cole.

The lyricial assault serves as a follow-up to the Dreamville artist's 2013 Quarter Water Raised Me Vol. II track. "Pinball II" finds co-production from label head J. Cole alongside Ced Breeze and ClickNPress.

Bas gives a shout-out to former New York Knicks baller J.R. Smith and his extraordinary leaping ability on the tune's second verse. "He said we are nigga, trips to DR, nigga/Got the borough jumpin' like it's J.R. Smith/Know a couple niggas let the A-R spit/Got no interest what you say y'all did/Only where y'all live," Bas rhymes.

"Pinball II" serves as the debut single moving toward Bas' highly anticipated third studio album. The Two Weeks Notice rapper hasn't unleashed a studio LP since Too High to Riot in 2016. Bas is also gearing up to tour across Europe beginning in June with stops at the TRNSMT Festival in Glasgow and culminating in Stockholm on July 19.
