It's been quite some time since Angel Haze has released music. She makes her return today with a brand new single titled “Resurrection." The song is pretty self-explanatory, Haze is as ferocious as ever, rapping her ass off and letting people know that she is back and better than ever.

"Wait, police on front, hold my shit like that/Woah bitch don't touch, hold my shit like that/Lost all my soul just to get that plaque/And it's been way too long for me to get that pack/Wait, not that I say I regret it/We only fuck if you match my aesthetic/Wait, I think they all just rejecting/Hate what you not and that shit is pathetic," she raps.

Haze spoke about the meaning of the song. "Listen, I don't give a fuck," she said. "That's the only difference. I don't give one single fuck. I'm here with my heart open and my lungs full of what god has given me. It's just my views."

"Resurrection" is the first single from Haze that's off her 2017 sophomore album. Bump the new song above. The last project by the former XXL Freshman was Back to the Woods, a 13-track effort that features no guest appearances and produced entirely by Tk Kayembe.

The Michigan MC also penned an open letter last year, which found her opening up about her struggle with finding acceptance as a teen, and how youth all over the country are severely suffering from the same issues which are leading to wide-spread depression.
