Lil Uzi Vert has responded to Ab-Soul. Read below.

Original Story:

Young rappers just can't catch a break. After Pete Rock had words for both Young Dolph and Lil Yachty, telling "mumble rappers" to step their bars up, Ab-Soul is now seemingly coming for Lil Uzi Vert, taking to Twitter Wednesday night (Sept. 7) to indirectly call the Philly rapper out.

"All these new 'lil' niggaz is weak as the time it took to create earth..." Soul wrote. "We don't pass on PRIMO beats in this sport kids! Hip-hop = Intelligent Movement." After reading both of those tweets, it's apparent who Ab-Soul's is talking about.

Soul-O is referencing an interview Uzi did with Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning (included below) in which the "Money Longer" rapper refused to freestyle over the beat for Gang Starr's "Mass Appeal." "Oh he making me rap on that?" Uzi says when Ebro mentions the track. "I'm too young, I'm not into that." Later on, when the discussion gets back to freestyling, Uzi says, "I'm telling you right now if you pull up one of them old beats I'm not rapping on it."

Soulo might be feeling froggy after Pete Rock recently came out against rappers like Young Dolph and Lil Yachty. "Make better music and write better lyrics," wrote Pete on IG earlier this week. Cops gonna target us regardless but stop giving them a reason or should i say dont make it easier for them, yall gotta start caring about whats going on around yall."
