Derek Jeter has been locked in a legal battle with the people behind Frigo Underwear and a new report states that part of the reason Jeter backed out of the deal with the men's garment company was because he did not want the product marketed to gay men. TMZ reports that court documents filed in Delaware by Frigo state that "[Jeter] demanded that [Frigo] not market to the gay community and states that he did not want the Frigo brand to be 'too gay.'"

TMZ reached out to Jeter who responded by saying the allegations are "categorically false" and that he is disgusted by the accusations.

Jeter is being sued for backing out of a marketing deal with Frigo. TMZ Sports first reported that the former New York Yankee shortstop killed the deal when 50 Cent was named an ambassador for the brand. Jeter allegedly felt that the addition of the rapper made the brand "too urban," a report Jeter has since refuted.

After seeing the latest headlines involving Jeter and Frigo, 50 Cent unsurprisingly chimed in with an Instagram post with a caption that ends with "Derek call me." Jeter does not have an Instagram account so no telling if he has seen 50's request.

Frigo attorney Joseph Tacopina released a statement:

As demonstrated in the Verified Counterclaims of RevolutionWear filed yesterday, Derek Jeter defrauded RevolutionWear, blatantly breached the fiduciary duties he owed to it and utterly failed to perform his contract with the company.  According to RevolutionWear, Jeter's misconduct caused the company to incur losses of at least $30 million, which the company is seeking as damages in this suit, along with punitive damages for his fraudulent conduct. We look forward to cross-examining Jeter and his representatives under oath to expose his alleged frauds to the public.  We also have numerous witnesses who are waiting for their chance to testify about his alleged frauds and misconduct.
