50 Cent Starts Film Company With Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
50 Cent is teaming up with his close friend, professional boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr, for a new business venture.
According to hitfix.com, during last weekend’s Sundance Film Festival, Fif announced that the duo are starting their own film production company entitled, Mayweather Productions.
“We don’t know what the future holds but we keep our fingers crossed and only hope for the best,” Mayweather said of new company.
Their first project together will be a movie entitled Tommorow Today, which 50 both wrote the screenplay for and is set to direct. The movie, scheduled to begin shooting in Grand Rapids, Michigan this August, will be part of the G-Unit general's $200 million deal with Lionsgate.—Michael Naclerio
