50 Cent Picks Floyd Mayweather Up From Jail
50 Cent is a happy man.
The G-Unit general was amongst the group of people who came to pick best friend and boxer extraordinaire Floyd Mayweather up from a Las Vegas jail on Friday morning (August 3), as reported by TMZ.
Mayweather served roughly two months of his three-month sentence for domestic violence, before being released.
Last night, 50 tweeted, “TMT next level in sports Floyd gets out tomorrow.”
Of course, TMT stands for The Money Team, his and Floyd’s brand new boxing promotion company.
While Mayweather was locked up, 50 was hard at work promoting TMT and trying to send warning shots to the competition, including former boxing great Oscar De La Hoya, who runs the highly-successful Golden Boy Promotions.
’Fif took plenty of shots at De La Hoya, including one saying that the former boxer will not be promoting Mayweather anymore.
“I don’t gamble floyd do,but I bet you you won’t be promoting Floyd mayweather no more. TMT PROMOTIONS,” 50 tweeted in De La Hoya’s direction, hinting that gone are the days that his best friend and currently incarcerated Mayweather be promoted by De La Hoya’s company.
50 continued berating De La Hoya from there.
“I just want you to know if you ever want to talk you can give me a call girl,” 50 added. “Baby girl, baby girl you here me,stop hating STOP IT RIGH NOW.”
Finally, De La Hoya responded.
“Your a boxing promoter?” he shot back. “Didn’t know, but good luck maybe we can work someday. #success #next generation #GBB #TMT”
To that, 50 replied: “Great back pedal, can you swim backwards like that to girl? lol I except that as a apology.”—Mark Lelinwalla
