50 Cent isn't the sort of person who ever begs for anyone's approval. However, that doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate it, especially if it comes from one of the most notorious gangsters in American history. Recently, Fif' got just that.

Yesterday, the Get Rich or Die Tryin' rapper posted a letter he received from Big Meech himself. In the letter, Meech gives 50 permission to create a Starz TV series based on Meech's exploits with the Black Mafia Family, which was a large drug trafficking organization based in Detroit.

Based on 50's Instagram caption, the significance of Meech's approval isn't something he takes lightly. "It don't get realer then this, now watch me work," the G-Unit boss says in the caption. "I get the job done, you think I'm playing out here."

Now that 50's gotten permission to develop a show about Big Meech and B.M.F., it's safe to say he's going to be busier than ever. According to the folks at Variety, the "Power" producer is about to begin producing a new superhero TV series based on his own screenplay. The new series will follow the exploits of a military veteran who was experimented on by a prison doctor after he was locked away for a crime he did not commit.

“I am looking forward to continuing my relationship with my Starz family, we have had great success together on 'Power' and I am excited to get going on all of our upcoming projects together,” 50 Cent said in a statement. “I knew Starz would be the perfect home for Tomorrow, Today. This project is very personal to me… creating it, writing it, finding the best team for it and I will continue to be involved every step of the way.”
