Yung Miami is safe today after someone fired shots at the rapper's car.

The incident apparently went down on Monday night (Aug. 6) after the City Girls rapper, born Caresha Brownlee, left a studio in Miami around 1 a.m. Miami-Dade Police swiftly responded to reports of shots fired in the area of NW 135th Street and 1st Avenue in North Miami. According to the Miami rapper, the alleged shooters reportedly began firing at her cherry red, Mercedes G-Wagon from a car with no lights.

"They just started shooting," Yung Miami explained to Southside. "They had their lights off so I never saw them like whoever it was they kept their lights off. I don't know where they came from. It came from behind. The shots came from behind. They started from behind because when I got to the stop sign I was like 'Oh shit somebody's shooting.'"

In another video, Yung Miami, who's pregnant with Southside's child, appears to speak to the Miami Police Department about the shooting. The dramatic event comes over a week after the rapper was dissed by Kodak Black in his recent jailhouse freestyle. On July 28, Kodak released a brand new verse from his jail cell. In the freestyle, Kodak disses Yung Miami months after he apparently tried to get with her.

"I bought Yung Miami a ring, she wanted 808 baby," he raps referring to the City Girls member's pregnancy. "When I see her I'ma hit that bitch in her stomach/The way I keep my shit too real, they say I'm fucking up my money."
