Young Thug, G-Eazy and More Hit the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards Red Carpet
Hip-hop is being celebrated once again at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. This year's ceremony at the Forum in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 11) has brought out some of the game's most lauded rappers to perform, present awards and possibly go home with a win. With DJ Khaled as host, performances from Eminem, Cardi B, G-Eazy and N.E.R.D; and Chance The Rapper set to receive the Innovator Award, the show will have something for every kind of rap fan to enjoy. But first, the red carpet.
Always one to make a fashion statement, Young Thug hit the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet early, donning a colorful overcoat decorated with fringe and a variety of letters. Red frames and his signature "Slatt" chain added to the look.
G-Eazy graced the red carpet in a dapper gold suit. The glittering gold ’fit was in stark contrast to his girlfriend Halsey's two-piece set. The singer, who joined the rapper on their collab track "Him & I," made her way onto the red carpet sporting an animal print micro mini dress and crop top.
Repping for the women in hip-hop, Iggy Azalea showed off her toned legs in a high-slit black dress. Method Man, Eve, GoldLink, Jacquees, Angela Yee and DJ Envy also stepped foot on the carpet to showcase their Sunday best.
When the red carpet comes to a close, the nominees will settle in at the Forum as they wait for their respective categories to be presented. Migos, who recently dropped their Culture II album to rave reviews, are competing for Best Duo/Group of the Year, Hip-Hop Song of the Year ("Bad and Boujee") and Hip-Hop Artist of the Year while Cardi B is up for four awards including Hip-Hop Song of the Year, Best Lyrics, Best Music Video and Best New Hip-Hop Artist based off her success with "Bodak Yellow."
DJ Khaled leads the list of hip-hop nominees with five nods for Song of the Year ("Wild Thoughts"), Best Collaboration ("Wild Thoughts"), Hip-Hop Song of the Year ("Wild Thoughts"), Hip-Hop Artist of the Year and Best Music Video ("I'm the One").
