XXL's 20th birthday is here, and to celebrate, we've put together a special playlist featuring the artists from our 20th anniversary covers. The Spotify playlist features many of the names and faces that played a large role in defining hip-hop over the last two decades.

There's 50 Cent, who represented the peak of mid-2000s gangsta rap while parlaying that commercial success to become a successful entrepreneur.  His name is represented by his Get Rich or Die Tryin' effort, "In Da Club" and his hit Curtis single, "I Get Money." Then there's Nicki Minaj, whose combination of solid bars and pop sensibilities helped her along her path to grossing the most total appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 of any female artist, usurping Aretha Franklin in the process. Selections from Nicki's Pink Friday ("Moment 4 Life") and The Pinkprint ("Anaconda") both make the cut.

Also on the playlist are rappers like Lil Uzi Vert ("Money Longer," "XO Tour Llif3"), Birdman (as Big Tymers with Mannie Fresh, "Still Fly"), Future ("Mask Off," "Tony Montana") and Wiz Khalifa ("Black and Yellow," "See You Again"), Migos ("Bad and Boujee," "Versace") Diddy ("I Need a Girl Part 2," "All About the Benjamins" with The Lox), Pusha T ("King Push," "Numbers on the Boards") and Run The Jewels ("Close Your Eyes (And Count to Fuck)," "Legend Has It")

If you've got Spotify, listen to the XXL 20th Anniversary playlist below and check back next week for more songs from our cover stars.
