XXL Freshmen 2015 is coming and the freshman hopefuls are gearing up to possibly make this year’s class. With the10th Spot voting happening now, we have to let the potentials tell us why they should appear on this year’s cover.

The budding Atlanta native from Quality Control Music—the same label that houses Migos, OG Maco, Miloh Smith, Skippa Da Flippa, and Johnny Cinco—is one of the hardest working artists in hip-hop. Rich The Kid released his first tape, Been About The Benjamins and followed that up with Feels Good To Be Rich in 2014. He finally delivered his proper debut, Rich Than Famous, last December. The EP featured YG, Gucci Mane, Migos, and the now-incarcerated Bobby Shmurda, among others, plus production from Zaytoven and Metro Boomin, along with Jahlil Beats, Harry Fraud, and KE On The Track. It seems like every day he's releasing a new cut for his fans. Most recently he released "She Aint Goin" featuring Rich Homei Quan, "Nervous" featuring Curren$y, and "Change" featuring Migos. He's also been featured on bangers like Tink's "Ran Up a Check" and Carnage's "WDYW" featuring A$AP Ferg and Lil Uzi Vert. Rich The Kid is also featured heavily in Migo Lingo—which dropped this month—and will also be on the upcoming Shmigo Gang mixtape with Migos, Bobby Shmurda, Rowdy Rebel, and Domingo, set for a release 2015. Watch above as he tells us why he should appear on the coveted XXL Freshmen list.

The XXL Freshmen 10th Spot will run from March 16 to March 22. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into XXL Freshmen Class.
