A couple weeks ago, Buffalo, N.Y. rapper Westside Gunn revealed he had an upcoming project with MF DOOM called WESTSIDEDOOM on the way. Today, he's unveiled the first track, called "Gorilla Monsoon" and produced by Griselda's in-house beatmaker Daringer. You can listen to the track below.

The song features Gunn rapping for the most part, with DOOM coming in toward the end of the track in a slow, crawling cadence.

WESTSIDEDOOM is apparently only two songs, says Westside Gunn in a new interview. "It didn’t have to be a full album or what not to make a point. The two songs we have, those are art pieces to me," says Westside. "From MF DOOM and his management’s standpoint, it made a whole lot of sense and they’ve already thrown the respect at me. So after all that, I hit up Alchemist and Daringer. I told Daringer first and he cooked up a joint and that was it. Then we sent Alchemist’s joint and it was just magic. With this WESTSIDEDOOM shit, I honestly feel from what I did and what he did on those two songs with Alchemist and Daringer, niggas is in trouble and the whole world is about to understand what I’m saying."

DOOM's series of new songs with Adult Swim, Missing Notebook Rhymes, was discontinued today. Listen to "Gorilla Monsoon" below.
