Wale Working on Third Album, Lil Kim Announces New EP

Hip-hop's darlings aren't letting the holiday season slow down their production.

Wale recently announced via Twitter that he is already two songs into his third project.

"2 songs deep in my next album. #iluvthis," the Maybach Music Group member, who recently released his Ambition album, wrote.

The sophomore album by the 2009 XXL Freshman sold 163,900 copies first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan, landing at No. 2 on the tally and making it the top-selling rap album in the country that week.

Lil Kim also took to the social media site to tell fans about her own upcoming release, writing, "#teamlilkim For the holidays I'm releasing a 5 song EP for y'all as a preview of what's to come in 2012 & so on 4rm Lil' Kim :) !!!!!"

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Kim dropped her proper "I'm Not the One" single, which, not surprisingly, takes aim at her nemesis Nicki Minaj as well as Lil Wayne and the Young Money Camp. Check out the track below:
