Vic Mensa is looking to end the year on a strong note. Today (Nov. 21), the Chicago rapper announced that his new Hooligans EP will be released on Dec. 14 via Roc Nation/Capitol Records.

The rapper confirmed the project will feature guest appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Charlie Wilson, G Herbo, Jesse Rutherford and Mr. Hudson, as well as will include his previously released collaboration with G-Eazy, “Reverse.”

To celebrate the news, Vic dropped a new music video for the single, “Dark Things,” which is also set to appear on the forthcoming EP. The stunning visual, directed by Bobby Hanaford, showcases the rapper entertaining his dark side, with the opening scene following the rapper into the middle of the woods where he is joined by some haunting figures.

Additionally, the “Empathy” rapper appeared on Beats 1 to talk about the project and give love to Englewood. He also talked about some artists he respects, such as Tupac, Rage Against The Machine and more.

“I really just wanted to represent different energies to show different sides of me so this is a dark side.” Vic shared on-air. “There's records that are more fun summertime energy. There's fight songs.”

The EP’s pre-order will go live on Friday (Nov. 23) and will also include a limited edition merchandise collection. Check out Vic Mensa’s new song “Dark Things” and its accompanying video, as well as listen to his recent radio appearance, below.
