From Smokepurpp to Denzel Curry, a number of rappers have claimed to be the originators of the SoundCloud sound and on Monday (Aug. 6), the debate raged on when Lil Pump said he was among the artists who started the wave. Now, Uno The Activist is firing back and says the "Gucci Gang" rapper is wrong.

"I love pump but this is ALL CAP," Uno tweeted on Monday. "I started this SoundCloud shit with the likes of a few artist, it's not a competition when everybody eating but if it's facts to be said then *I nvr stood in line before*," he added in another tweet.

Uno's tweets were in response to a video from Lil Pump, who said Ski Mask The Slump God, Smokepurpp, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, XXXTentacion and himself "started the whole SoundCloud shit." In another video, Pump added, ”Nobody was being called SoundCloud rappers until we came out. We made the whole SoundCloud wave go up."

While it's difficult to pinpoint who's responsible for starting the SoundCloud boom, there is some truth to Uno's tweet. The Atlanta artist uploaded his first song to SoundCloud, "Parkin' Lot Pimpin'", in 2015—one year before Pump shared his first track on SoundCloud, the self-titled "Lil Pump."

In the year before Pump uploaded his first track to SoundCloud, Uno The Activist had already shared the songs "Sippin Tea" and the "Whole Thang" featuring Playboi Carti.
