Tyga Channels Summer Island Vibes on New Song “Temperature”
Just about two months after dropping his Bugatti Raww mixtape, Tyga pulls up with "Temperature," a summer-tinged island banger that finds the rapper flaunting some Auto-Tune laced vocals over a bed of dancehall-inspired instrumentation.
With Caribbean rhythm at his back, T-Raww offers up a track that's as warm as it is intimate. "Yeah, I know when you're outside/I can feel the temperature rise/ Yeah, I know when you're outside, I can feel the temperature/The temperature-temperature/Said I—get you so high, you might die, if you fall," he croons on the sensuous on the Crakwav-produced track.
Usually a player, "Temperature" finds Tyga playing the role of a lover. "Off at four, wanna see you 'round five/'Round 4:45, I'll be on my way/Ya I'm on my way come outside," he sings.
While the track definitely carries some island vibes, Tyga tells XXL he drew inspiration for the WizKid-esque "Temperature" from "My summer emotions and the time that I spent in Asia." Word.
"Temperature" is Tyga's way of ending 2017, in which he dropped two projects, with a bang. He's got even more in store for 2018.
"MTV’s Scream comes out soon with a new season that I’m in, more movies, more music videos and my new brand VietRaw," T-Raww says of his plans for the new year. Sounds dope.
