It's been quite some time since anybody's heard from Tweet, but the Rochester songbird has made an effortless return in the way of a new single featuring Missy Elliott. "Somebody Else Will" reunites the two collaborators, who had teamed up previously for the singer's "Oops (Oh My)" in 2002 and a few other tracks since.

Tweet's return to music coincides with Missy's own, as the rapper has released two singles in recent months, "Pep Rally" and "WTF (Where They From)" featuring Pharrell. On "Somebody Else Will," Missy only provides a few bars of introduction, rapping at the song's start, "Oh now he all up in his feelings / He ain't did nothin' for me in a minute / I cut him off just like the end of a sentence / He seen me with somebody else, no more pretendin’." Though the track has spiteful undertones, the music itself is warm and upbeat.

The song acts as a single for Tweet, who will be releasing her third studio album, Charlene, on February 26 via eOne. The album, which takes its title from Tweet's given name, will be the singer's first in 11 years, as she last dropped It's Me Again in March of 2005. Thus far, it appears the Missy bit is the only guest feature on the album, though such details will be illuminated once the project is released. Check out the new track up top, and stay on the lookout for Charlene in the coming days.
