Turk Receives High School Diploma While Incarcerated

It must be feeling like the start of a brand new life for Turk. The former Cash Money rapper and member of the Hot Boys, alongside Lil Wayne, Juvenile and B.G., is just over a month away from being released from prison and he has some other good news as well.

Turk recently received his high school diploma, an accomplishment he shared with AllHipHop.com recently.

Turk, who’s in his ninth and final year of a prison bid for a weapons violation conviction which came as the aftermath of a wild shootout in 2005, told the website that he recently graduated from finishing high school courses at Forrest City, Arkansas.

Turk is scheduled to be released from prison on October 12.

Though he’ll be seeing the day of light soon, his former Hot Boys brethren, B.G., isn’t as fortunate.

B.G., real name Christopher Dorsey, was sentenced to 14 years in Federal prison for gun possession and witness tampering back in July.—Mark Lelinwalla
