Kendrick Lamar's epic DAMN. tour began in earnest when he, Travis Scott and D.R.A.M. took the stage in Phoenix, Ariz. last night (July 12). Long known for his inventively over-the-top performances, Scott rapped from atop a giant animatronic bird. Check out bits from his electrifying performance below.

In the clips we get to see, Scott performs his hit songs like "Antidote" and "Butterfly Effect" as he stands on top of the bird. He's giving it his all throughout the performance, and the fans look totally into it. The giant bird is a cool prop for sure, but for Scott, who once performed his song "Goosebumps" 14 times in one show, it's just another day at the office.

Scott's crowd maintained their enthusiasm when K. Dot popped up onstage later that night. During his performance, the crowd rapped along all of the words to his hit DAMN. singles "Humble" and "DNA" without ever missing a beat. Kung Fu Kenny was definitely feeling the love.

“THE WILDEST SHOW IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY KUNGFU KENNY TRAVIS SCOTT AND DRAM. ARIZONA. AMAZING START,” Kendrick wrote on Twitter after the first show of his tour.

Fans will get plenty more chances to see K. Dot, Scott and D.R.A.M. throughout the rest of the DAMN. tour, which is all set to continue until early September.
