"I'm fed up." Your news channels, your Twitter timeline, you conscience—everywhere you turn, police brutality and systemic racism are making themselves unavoidable. On the day after a Missouri grand jury did not indict Darren Wilson, the police officer who killed unarmed teenager Michael Brown in August, Tink lets loose of "Tell The Children." The Timbaland-produced cut takes aim at the oppressors; she raps, "They profile us/Then they wonder why we grow up being prejudiced and so violent." Other times, she flips Reaganomics on its ear, suggesting it's racism, not stock dividends that "trickles down from the rich to the poor."
