T.I. and Bobby Brown have been added to the roster of VH1’s recently resuscitated Behind the Music series.

Tip’s episode will follow his early life as a drug dealer on the streets of Atlanta, to the murder of his close friend Philant Johnson all the way up to his current stint in prison on federal gun charges. It is set to premiere on Thursday, October 8 at 10 p.m. EST

Five days later, on October 13, 50 Cent’s notorious rise to fame will be documented on the network. The show will profile the rapper’s near-death experience back in May 2000 all the way to his current status as one of hip-hop biggest stars.

Three weeks earlier, on September 28 the life of troubled R&B superstar Bobby Brown will be exposed. The show will touch on the Brown’s rise to fame as a member of New Edition, his struggles with drugs and subsequent divorce from Whitney Houston.

As XXLMag.com previously reported, Lil Wayne will be the first star to be profiled on the series. The show, set to premiere on September 10, will cover Weezy’s tenure as a New Orleans Hot Boy all the way to his current status as the “best rapper alive.”

All shows will air at 10 p.m. EST except 50’s episode which comes to the small screen at 8 p.m. –Elan Mancini
