Name: Rich The Kid (Dimitri Rodger)

Age: 21

Hometown: Queens, New York. I moved to Atlanta. My parents separated when I turned 13. My dad stayed in New York and my mom, we moved out to College Park in Atlanta. I rep Atlanta because I pretty much grew up there.

I grew up listening to: Nas, Jay Z, Tupac, Biggie, 50 Cent. Once I got to Atlanta, I started to get into T.I., Jeezy. I really fuck with Jeezy’s music when I was coming up. I always fucked with Jeezy.

Most people don't know: That I am Haitian. I speak Creole fluently. I never been to Haiti though. Both my parents have. Another thing is nobody ever taught me how to speak Creole. Just being in the house, just them talking to each other. I just caught on. Nobody ever taught me anything.

My style's been compared to: People always want to compare me with the Migos 'cause we came up together in the bando. We’re not completely the same. We may have some tendencies, but I’m Rich The Kid and that’s the Migos. We got a mixtape together, Streets On Lock 2. We got songs together. We’re Quality Control. They my brothers. We came up together. We still got so many old songs and new songs. We might even put out Streets On Lock 3 or something like that.

My standout records and/or moments to date have been: “Jumpin’ Like Jordan.” Everybody knows that club banger. “Remix” with the Migos and Twista is on “Remix” too. My brother DJ Victorious, he’s a DJ out of Chicago, he set it up. He said [Twista] really wanted to get on the song and he heard it. It’s hard.

A moment for me is going to BET. Even though it wasn’t me going, I was with the Migos, but it felt like us as Quality Control. Damn, we made it.

My goal in Hip-Hop is: To influence all the artists. To really rap cause they love the music. I put out music for the fans. I just don’t put out music for money. I don’t just only rap for money. Maybe, when we first started rapping we was just like, “Man, we to rap and get on.” After a minute, it’s like I love this lifestyle.

I'm gonna be the next: Freshmen of the year, next year.
