T-Pain is the latest artist to give some serious props to Soulja Boy. In a new interview with Big Boy TV, the veteran singer-producer calls the Warner/Chappell artist the G.O.A.T.

“Soulja Boy is the greatest artist of all time,” he tells Big Boy in a clip that was posted on Real 92.3's Twitter account on Wednesday (Feb. 27). “All I want for Soulja Boy is for all what he’s doing...to come with some music to back it up.”

“[He’s got] this huge comeback and everybody is talking about Soulja Boy. All I just want there to be is some music with it,” he added.

Soulja caught wind of T-Pain’s comment and jumped on his Instagram page and re-posted the video to let everyone know what he's been telling us all along. “You heard the man,” wrote Soulja, who's previously labeled himself as the forefather of internet rap.

T-Pain isn't the only rapper to acknowledge Soulja as a great. Fellow artists Meek Mill, Jay Electronica, Juicy J, Casey Veggies and others have all said that Draco is an influential figure in the rap game.

“You have to give credit where it’s due. I too followed [Soulja Boy’s] blueprint and made myself known via internet initially as well," tweeted Jay Elect on his Twitter account. "I was even labeled [an] 'intent rapper' those days."

In the meantime, T-Pain is busy promoting his surprise album 1UP, which he dropped today (Feb. 27). The 12-song LP features cameos from Lil Wayne, O.T. Genasis, Tory Lanez, Boosie Badazz and Flipp Dinero, among others.
