Early this morning (Oct. 2), T.I. provided "some clarity" when it comes to Kanye West's somewhat controversial statement regarding the 13th Amendment. While he admits 'Ye's tweet was "horribly worded," the King does believe his "'Ye vs. the People" collaborator has a point. Sort of.

For clarification, T.I. is referring to the "I Love It" rapper's tweets posted last Sunday (Sept. 30). Kanye called the 13th Amendment "slavery in disguise meaning it never ended." In a new Twitter clip, the Dime Trap MC makes it clear that he agrees with 'Ye "because the 13th Amendment also says slavery is abolished unless imprisoned."

"Now if slavery is abolished unless imprisoned," Tip continues, "that means that it incentivizes mass incarceration and it also increases the amount of scrutiny put on us and the laws that affect us differently than they affect White people."

Though T.I. doesn't agree with the majority of West's ideologies as of late—including his choice of pro-Trump fashion—he does believe the Black delegation "can't afford to lose" him. In an interview with Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning show back in May, Tip voiced his belief that 'Ye needs some sort of translator to form his thoughts into words.

"It ain't even maybe 1% of the people on Earth that speak the language of Kanye West," he expressed. "The problem is the stuff that come in his head, when it actually come out his mouth and make its way to the air is totally different than it was in here."
