Sir Michael Rocks returns with a new video for his song "Quality Time Lapse." Rocks leaves the States and ends up in Asia in the colorful clip. Filmed in Shibuya, aka the "Times Square of Tokyo,” SMR stumbles through the busy streets which are bustling with pedestrians even at night. Sporting a Pokemon-inspired Gyrados hockey jersey of his own Exotic Gourmet clothing line, Mike raps while meandering his way through the sea of humanity, passing by dozens of name-brand buildings with well lit advertisements. Most people carry on as if nothing is happening. The video was filmed during a recent month long trip to Japan, where SMR posted up and learned some Japanese culture.

"Quality Time Lapse" appears on Sir Michael Rocks' most recent offering, the eight-song EP, Populair, which was released last month. The project also featured the singles "Perfect" and "Pull Up," which the Illinois rapper put out music videos for.

The former Cool Kid, who continues to establish his own identity, released his debut solo album, Banco in July 2014. The project featured guest appearances from Twista, Casey Veggies, Iamsu!, Robb Banks, Pouya, Mac Miller, Trinidad James, Too Short and Chuck Inglish. The album peaked at No. 13 on Billboard's Rap Album Chart.
