According to a Page Six item in the New York Post, R. Kelly faced many more sexually misconduct case in the past, one as recent as 2010 by his former 36-year-old housekeeper. He settled the case out of court for $100,000. R. Kelly has settled a number of sexual misconduct suits—most notably involving teen girls in the 1990s before his infamous child pornography indictment in 2002—however sources have come forth to say that not all the settlements were public.

The Post continues to say that there has been disagreements within Kelly's camp and secrets are "starting to float to the surface about the millions he paid out over the years to a wide variety of women."

Last year a Village Voice interview with the Chicago Sun-Times' Jim DeRogatis sent shockwaves over the web as DeRogatis—the reporter who broke the story and has been following the R. Kelly's cases from the beginning—stated that the R&B crooner has ruined dozens of women lives.
