Russ, Pi’erre Bourne & Cardo, 24hrs and More: New Projects This Week

There are multiple ways to celebrate now that the holiday spirit is in full effect. While most people will enjoy activities such as spending time with loved ones and exchanging gifts during this festive season, artists like Rae Sremmurd, Kodak Black, 24hrs, ManMan Savage, Troy Ave and several others delivered Christmas-inspired releases in the form of singles and full-length projects.

Curren$y’s Weed & Instrumentals tape—which may or may not be influenced by the New Orleans spitter’s personal Christmas wish list—as well as the debut album (X 100PRE) from international artist Bad Bunny—known for conquering the charts alongside Cardi B and J Balvin with “I Like It”—also dropped over the course of the last few X-mas-themed days.

Christmas came early this year for fans of Russ when the There's Really a Wolf rapper dropped his Just in Case just days prior to the holiday. The three-track EP follows the September release of his sophomore disc, Zoo, and features the tracks “Nobody Knows,” “Fix This” and “Alright.”

Twas the night before Christmas and 24hrs was up unveiling his latest project. Titled B4 Xmas, the project is a youthful substitute for all of those played-out Christmas classics.

Two of our 50 of the best producers of the last 12 months, Pi’erre Bourne (known for producing for Playboi Carti and Travis Scott, among others) and Cardo (who co-produced Drake’s chart-topper, “God’s Plan”), connected for a surprise collaboration. The hit-makers decided this week to unleash the joint mixtape, Pi’erre & Cardo’s Wild Adventure. Housing 14 tracks, the project should hold us over until the “Magnolia” producer-turnt-rapper releases The Life of Pi'erre 4.
