Last night (April 10), South Florida rapper Ski Mask The Slump God was opening for Desiigner on The Outlet Tour in L.A. The show was at the Fonda Theatre, and "Chill Bill" rapper Rob $tone was set to perform after Ski Mask. But at the beginning of Ski Mask's set, a couple dudes jumped him from behind, and together they fell into the crowd. Ski Mask hopped back onstage for a second before getting chased by a large group of Rob's people. A fight ensued, cops showed up and the footage soon went viral online.

The melee came a day after Florida native Ski Mask was escorted off the stage during Rob $tone's set in the latter's hometown of San Diego. Clearly, bad blood was brewing.

On Tuesday (April 11), XXL got on the phone with both Rob and Ski Mask to get each of their sides of the story about what happened in L.A. last night.

According to Rob, Ski Mask's L.A. performance was strike three in a series of actions he felt were disrespectful.

"First show, the nigga ran out on my set in Seattle during my third song and started trying to shake hands with fans in the middle of my song," says Rob. "Pretending to turn up with me, it wasn’t no genuine turn up. The nigga was ruining my spot. So that was the first strike and I told the nigga, 'Don’t do that. If you’re gonna run on my set, come on 'Chill Bill' at the end.' So he was like, 'Aight, cool' and it was straight.

"Then we get to San Diego for my hometown show. His set time is 8:30 [p.m.], mine is 9 [p.m.]. This nigga is acting like he’s not gonna show up, all this weird ass shit. So they push the set times back, they push mine to 9:30 and he was supposed to go on at 9. And then this nigga don’t show up until 9:25, so when it’s time for me to hit the stage, my DJ is onstage opening my set up and [Ski Mask] is trying to run on stage and take the mic from my DJ. My DJ ain’t give him the mic, so this nigga’s gon’ stand in the middle of the stage with his arms folded, wanna act tough with my security and shit."

Rob says he pressed Ski Mask after the show and claims the South Florida rapper was acting "like a pussy nigga." He later went back and forth with Ski Mask and the rapper's friend XXXTENTACION on Twitter. “Let them know whoever the fuck that is getting fucked in they mouth when I go on tour for putting their peasant hands on my brother," X tweeted, seemingly in response to Rob $tone.

"So then they talk all that shit, and the next day [XXXTENTACION] all on Instagram Live talking about Ski Mask gonna slap the shit outta me, they gonna fuck me up, they gonna do this, they gonna do that," continues Rob. "So that night [April 10] at the Fonda, I pull up and Ski Mask don’t wanna come to the green room and check in on the bullshit he pulled at my hotel. He don’t wanna say nothin’. He don’t show up to soundcheck.

"[Ski Mask] shows up early for his set and runs straight to the stage like a bitch. He don’t come check in and holla. I wasn’t even trying to run onstage and do bro like that. I was supposed to get at bro behind the scenes, but he wanna run onstage and not holla at me like a real nigga, so I run onstage and take the mic from blood and then we beat his ass from the stage to the street. And that’s how it goes. And I left his ass out in the street with his ass out and his underwear. And that’s exactly what happened, from beginning to end."

Ski Mask tells a different version of events. According to him, AEG, the touring agency putting on Desiigner's tour, was trying to get Rob $tone thrown off the tour.

"They saw how my performance was, they saw how his performance was, they saw how much people were [not] fucking with him, and they’re making me perform before him," Ski Mask states. "Statistically, I shouldn’t even perform before him. Looking at numbers, I shouldn’t have to perform before him because it doesn’t make sense. My numbers are way higher than his in general. Then performance wise, this nigga is ass. He doesn’t do good in general in performance. So they were trying to throw him off [the tour] and he was angry as fuck."

Ski Mask says the April 10 show in San Diego was supposed to be his final show on the tour, as he claims Rob $tone couldn't get kicked off the tour because AEG would have to pay Rob $75,000 for breach of contract. "Only reason I even came to the show is because everybody was begging me. A lot of people were coming to see me. That’s the only reason I even went and was gonna do this show," says Ski.

"When I went to the show, the nigga that was half-ass managing the tour tried to make me perform without paying me," he continues. "And I was like, 'Nigga, I’m not gonna perform if you don’t pay me.' So this nigga was like, 'Alright, well, I guess you’re not gonna perform and you’re not gonna get paid.' I was like, 'That’s completely fine because nigga I don’t give a fuck anyway.' I don’t need anybody. All I need is myself.

"This nigga tells me, 'Oh, you’re not gonna perform and you can’t tell your fans that you’re not performing.' Because I actually was gonna tell my fans I’m not performing on the mic. I was like, 'Nigga, I don’t know what you’re saying, but I’m gonna go tell my fans on the mic that I’m not performing.' Because they’re gonna think I didn’t even pull up and they’re gonna be mad."

In the video footage of the tour stop in San Diego that made its way online, that's when Ski appears onstage. "I go onstage before anybody’s performance," he says, "They’re just playing random music, and I asked Rob $tone’s homeboy if I could please get the mic from him real quick and I’ll give it back. This nigga said, 'No.' So I’m staring at this nigga and then his people, they weren’t even security, they were just his peoples, came trying to escort me off the stage.

"Then security came onstage, and the nigga that was with security, which is one of Rob $tone’s peoples also, grabs me by the arm hard, and I grab his hand and throw him off of me like, 'What’s up with you?' Then he jumps at me, like to intimidate me. So that was the first fuck-up, and the crowd recorded that shit."

The Twitter spat between Rob, Ski and XXX followed, and Ski claims Rob direct-messaged him after that to say he didn't have any problems with Ski. "Last thing he sent me was, 'Tell your homeboy to chill out on all that taunting shit' because X was threatening the fuck out of him," says Ski, who believes Rob jumped him onstage and recorded it for clout as a public response to X's threats.

"I go to the show [on April 10] only because I didn’t want to seem pussy," continues Ski. "I didn’t think, even if he was gonna jump me, he was gonna do it like that, by jumping me on the stage and not even give me the heads up that he’s about to jump me or wait until I’m done performing and then be like, 'What’s up with that shit you was talking yesterday with your peoples?' I would have respected that more; everybody would have respected if he had just asked me for a one-on-one, but this nigga didn’t even have the decency to jump me after the show when I’m acknowledging it and I’m prepared.

"Nigga jumped me while I was performing, and nobody can respect that, because that shows you’re scared. You got 40-year-old niggas to jump little old me. I’m not even six foot, I’m not that big. So he had to be either intimidated or hating on me, hating on the fact that they were trying to throw him off tour, hating on the fact that I was getting more love than him in both cities, because Desiigner still brought me out [during the April 9 show] even after I came late.

Ski claims he was rushed by Rob $tone and at least eight people on his team while holding the mic onstage. "[Rob $tone] doesn’t touch me once in that whole video," Ski says. "He grabs me, and grabs the mic, and then other people rush me, and when I come offstage, people think I was tackled offstage by his people. No. One of my niggas pushed us all offstage to get them off me. I jump back on the stage looking at these niggas and it’s like eight niggas squaring up with me, plus security, old ass niggas, for little old me. So I’m like aight, I start running to get outside and they’re jumping me the whole time I’m going outside.

"The whole time I’m getting jumped, I didn’t get knocked out. They didn’t do anything to me that they should have if you’re gonna jump a nigga. You’re all old as fuck. So I didn’t get knocked out, and in the situation I was in, anybody would have had to handle it like that, because I reached outside, the doors was locked to my car and I see my homeboy getting fucked up, so I go to jump in. Niggas was kicking me in the chest and punching me in the chest, hitting me in the face. They had me down, had a nigga winded, and I got 10 niggas kicking me in the chest. I couldn’t breath."

During the fight, Ski says a member of his crew was injured once he was stabbed. "Then they brought knives, they stabbed one of my homeboys in the mouth. Like you literally trying to kill me over me getting your set and your money and you hating on me," Ski reveals. "I can’t respect that shit, you could have asked me for a one-on-one. There didn’t have to be no knives involved, no gang bangers involved. He basically handled it like a ho trying to get clout. Because he could have handled it totally differently. I’m at the same hotel he’s at. He could have seen me at the hotel and tried to fight me, but this nigga waited until he knew I’d do the first part of my set where I turn the lights out, and he tried to jump me.

"Police come, get them off me, niggas get arrested. I didn’t snitch to nobody ‘cause I’m not gonna snitch. I’m basically Cam’ron, I get shot, I’m not finna snitch. So I’m on the floor, because anybody this happened to when they’re alone would be down. Paramedics come get me, managed to pick me up, and as soon as they pick me up, [Rob's people are] talking shit and my niggas are still talking shit to them. So my niggas don’t look for them after that, I didn’t even want to go to the hospital, I made them niggas drop me off. I had to sign papers to leave the ambulance. I’m not pussy. Nothing in my blood is pussy. But 10 niggas was kicking me, you’re not supposed to get jumped like that. I’m 20 years old, these niggas like 30, 40."

Ski says he thinks he was set up by either the tour managers or the security at the venue. "I feel like people that were working with the tour helped [Rob $tone] because they weren’t trying to give me like two wristbands for my friends to get in, but they gave [Rob $tone’s peoples] 30 wristbands for all them niggas to get in," says Ski. "And you know what’s crazy? The security was in on it. Because when I jumped in the crowd, usually security helps me back onstage, but security looked at me, sized me up, threw me to the side, and when the fight broke out, security was hitting me too. Security was in on it."

Both Rob and Ski tell XXL they are no longer a part of Desiigner's The Outlet tour. XXL has reached out to AEG for confirmation.
