When A$AP Rocky's sophomore studio album At.Long.Last.A$AP dropped back in May, fans were stunned by his shots at Rita Ora on "Better Things." The Harlem MC rapped, "I swear that bitch Rita Ora got a big mouth/Next time I see her might curse the bitch out/Kicked the bitch out once cause she bitched out/Spit my kids out, jizzed up all in her mouth and made the bitch bounce." The English pop singer remained fairly quiet since the album dropped. However, in a recent interview with Hot 97's Nessa, Rita spoke on Flacko and his lyrics.

"I love his music, I love what he does," she said. "But for me, it's not about me. It's about what people think they can get away with about speaking about women. I'm not looking at it like 'you're upsetting me' because I don't actually give a shit." As Ora and Nessa continued on the subject, Rita added, "I think about it and I don't want people to think it's okay to speak about women like that. That's it. I don't care what you say about me. I don't give a flying fuck. That's just how it is, but you got to keep it moving. I'm very happy with what I do and I'm proud of who I am and what I represent."

Days after A.L.L.A dropped, A$AP tried to explain why he included the Ora diss in the first place. According to the New York spitta, he was speaking on a specific situation that happened between the pair when he was in a relationship. He later seemed somewhat remorseful for his lines, telling The Guardian that the lyrics were "tasteless" of him. "The Rita thing was tasteless of me," he said. "[But] I've got to stand by it, because I did it. I said it."
