Rick Ross Fails to Top Eminem on Billboard Charts

The mighty Eminem is unstoppable. While projections had Rick Ross possibly switching spots with the Detroit lyricist, the official numbers were released this morning, and Slim Shady reigns supreme.

For his fifth week in a row Em lounges comfortably at No.1. Recovery sold 187,200 copies, according to the Nielsen SoundScan, which put the rap phenom's total sales figure at 1,669,600.

Although not topping Em, Ross managed to get the No. 2 seat in his first week. For the first time in his career, Ross failed to debut at No. 1, but he still moved an impressive amount of Teflon Don CDs with 176,300.

Slipping to the No. 4 slot is Drake’s Thank Me Later. The T. Dot superstar sold 47,400 units this week, making his six week total stand at 880,500.

Rounding out the Top 40 are Big Boi, the Black Eyed Peas and B.o.B. Sir Luscious Left Foot…The Son of Chico Dusty came in at No. 15 with 18,400 units sold, bringing its three-week tally to 107,00. BEP added 14,900 CDs to their overall number for The E.N.D., which now equals 2,685,000. And, lastly, fans copped 12,000 copies of The Adventures of Bobby Ray this go-round, making B.o.B.'s total sales stand at 320,400.
