Rick Ross has canceled his concert stops on his Maybach Music Group tour in Charlotte and Greensboro for this weekend because of death threats.

According to the Charlotte Observer, Ross was scheduled to appear Friday in Greensboro and Saturday at the Bojangles Coliseum. However, the Gangster Disciples made their feud with Ross public by posting a threatening YouTube video. It warned the MMG leader to stay away from Charlotte.

The clip shows the Disciples angry over Ross mentioning the founder of their street gang in one of his lyrics. They are also offended by his use of the Star of David, which the image is found on his controversial mixtape cover, The Black Bar Mitzvah.

Tickets are currently being refunded starting this Friday, says a representative from Live Nation Entertainment. Other than the death threats, there wasn’t a specific reason why Ross and his crew took extra precautions.
