Rich Homie Quan Is Still a “Bossman” on New Song
As fans wait for Rich Homie Quan to drop his highly anticipated Rich As In Spirit album, the Atlanta artist leaks his newest track "Bossman." The melodic records finds the former XXL Freshman rapping about why he's still one of the big dogs in the game.
"I'm the boss man, I was tough man, coming up/I played my walkman when I was walking, to the bus/Don't get caught man, money talk man, listen up/My trigger finger by the middle finger cause I ain't never gave a fuck/I got no small change, these are Balmains, a thousand bucks/I met a guy that I had to fly there, to meet the plug," he raps. The record was produced by Will-A-Fool.
RHQ made a comeback in 2017, releasing his Back to Basics mixtape earlier this year. This past April, Quan spoke about wanting to get back to making the music he started out with.
"I decided to name it Back to the Basics because it’s like going back to the genre that I started with and just giving the fans the Quan they want as opposed to the Quan I wanted to be," he explained at the time. "Like, that’s not the Quan the people want. I just wanted to get back to the Quan that the people want and make my fans happy. I wanted to just give my fans a new body of work of music. Back to Basics just means I’m still going it, it don’t stop."
