WWE's flagship show, Monday Night Raw, has provided plenty of great entertainment throughout the years and one thing viewers have noticed a lot as of late is the incorporation of more hip-hop acts in the programing. For instance, just last week, rap superstar and mogul, Sean "Diddy" Combs, made a special appearance on Monday Night Raw to announce his role in the upcoming WWE 2K17 video game as the curator of the video game's soundtrack.

Diddy however isn't the only rap act to appear on the long-running WWE Raw show. Earlier this year, wrestling legend and movie star, The Rock, returned to WWE to help promote the brand's biggest event of the year, Wrestlemania. During one of those Raw shows leading to 'Mania, The Rock was seen cutting a promo next to MMG's head honcho, Rick Ross, and his entourage, marking the first time Renzel appeared on WWE programing.

Another rapper whose received major love from the WWE brand has been West Coast living legend Snoop Dogg, who earlier this year was inducted in WWE's prestigious Hall of Fame. Having already appeared on several Raw shows in the past, Snoop gave hip-hop and wrestling fans one of the best moments in history when he appeared alongside the immortal Hulk Hogan in a WWE Monday Night Raw ring while cutting a memorable promo.

With hip-hop and wrestling intersecting more than ever nowadays, XXL takes a look back at six rappers who have appeared thus far on WWE's flagship show.
