Rapper Pulls Up on Pusha T to Spit Freestyle

In today's crowded rap game, you have to take any opportunity you can get. Rhode Island rapper NICE did just that over the summer when he saw Pusha T outside of Roxy's Nightclub in Providence. As Pusha T and his entourage exited the club, NICE called out from across the street. The local MC asked if he could kick a verse before jumping into it.

NICE was in a sink or swim situation, and he delivered. As you can see in the above video, Pusha T was captivated by the rapper's rhymes. After NICE concluded his verse, Pusha T crossed the street to dap him down and get his information.

The freestyle could be a life changing event for NICE. Earlier this year, Rick Ross signed Isa Muhammad, a California rapper who spit a freestyle for Rozay in a similar manner.

NICE knew how to seize the moment, just like Pusha T did when the Clipse and Pharrell were making the classic single "Grindin." King Pusha told Stephen Colbert that Pharrell actually threatened to give the beat away.

"He told me that if I was not at the studio in ten minutes to get the beat, he was going to give the beat to Jay Z," Pusha T said. "The fact that he would give a great beat to an artist that wasn’t from our hometown would have burnt me up.”

Pusha T didn't let a chance for greatness slip away with "Grindin." He may have lucked into more outside a Rhode Island nightclub. Anything is possible.
