Quavo Accused of Assaulting and Robbing Jeweler at New York Nightclub
While a lot of artists either went home with awards or faced some harsh snubs at the 2018 Grammys, it looks like Quavo might have left a famous jeweler with some bruises following the awards show.
According to TMZ, a celebrity jeweler, known as Eric The Jeweler, is accusing the Migos rapper of assault and robbery during a Grammys afterparty at 1Oak in New York City on Monday morning (Jan. 29).
In the report to the NYPD, Eric claims that he was jumped by Quavo and another person partying with him in the early Monday morning hours inside the venue. A physical altercation between the hitmaker and the jeweler broke out after the two exchanged words over money that Quavo allegedly owes.
Another person allegedly involved in the scuffle was not Offset or Takeoff of Migos, according to sources.
Once Eric The Jeweler departed the club, he claims that he left with some minor injuries to his face but was missing his $30,000 chain. He has now filed a robbery report with the police.
NYPD apparently want to speak with Quavo and each member of the Migos, as well as the Atlanta rap group's manager. They are planning to try and obtain security camera footage from 1Oak as well.
Hopefully Quavo and Eric The Jeweler can work out their differences. While we know how much Migos love extravagant jewelry, they have enough money to drop on their own chains.
