Pusha T has been keeping fans on their toes in anticipation of his long-awaited King Push album and the wait is apparently partially due to Kanye West.

While performing at the Made In America festival in Philadelphia this weekend (Sept. 3), the My Name Is My Name rapper gave an update on why there has been a significant hold up on his next studio album. According to Pusha, Yeezy and he have already made three versions of the album, with the super producer scrapping tons of beats in the process.

"I'm gonna go ahead and let y'all know," Pusha tells fans. "I've done this album like three times, right. [Kanye] come in, he pick all the beats and shit. Then he hears the beats and he scraps them and says 'I can do better.' He's done that shit like three times."

He also hints at the fact that he and Kanye were working on King Push during `Ye's sessions in Wyoming earlier this year.

"These last few months, we've been locking in day for day, night for night, getting this album perfect for y'all," he continues. "Just to take it a bit further -- that's the luxury -- when you're on your rap superhero shit, you get the luxury of taking your time and being great. I'm gonna take my time and get this shit right for y'all."

Back in June, the G.O.O.D. Music President revealed that West was producing his King Push album, saying that it contains "good beats" so far.

We'll have to see how much longer we'll have to wait for King Push, but we'll keep you updated.
