“I Have a Big Record on Nicki Minaj’s Album,” Says Producer RedOne

While attending music publishing company BMI's "How I Wrote That Song" Grammy Weekend event at the legendary Key Club venue in Hollywood, California on Saturday (February 11), famed music producer RedOne revealed to XXL he recently worked on a "big" record for Nicki Minaj.

"I have a big, big record on Nicki's album," the beatsmith, who is behind many of Lady Gaga's hit singles, said excitedly. And, although details are scant at the time, he did comfirm said album the song will appear on is the forthcoming Roman Reloaded set.

RedOne was in attendance as a panelist alongside Wu Tang Clan's RZA, DJ Khaled and Rev Run, among others, for a discussion about creating music. He is up for Album of the Year for Lady Gaga's Born This Way LP, among other nods.

Nicki Minaj is up for a number of Grammy Awards this year as well, including Best New Artist. Roman Reloaded goes on sale on April 3.
