NYC rapper Black Dave drops his second single "Be Quiet" off his collaborative EP with Scion Audio Visual. Scion AV Presents: Skate Life EP will be free for fans to stream/download on Feb. 3. "Be Quiet" is a pretty straight forward record. Dave says it all on the hook, "tell a hater be quiet." The NYC skater raps about stunting on his nonbelievers, turning a nerdy girl out and how he's on a "rich nigga diet." It's a New York spin on trap music. The beat smacks you right in the face as soon as the bass drops.

The first single from Skate Life, "Respect the Intellect," was released two weeks ago. The cool thing about the Black Dave and Scion AV collab is that the project will be a sample free EP. The EP is produced by by Shy Guy and Sean C & LV. you're not familiar with Black Dave, real name Dave Willis, he's a rapper/pro-skater who caught the attention of many after his first mixtape Stay Black dropped in 2013. Dave has been skateboarding for 11 years. It’s a big part of his life. And when he's not rapping or skateboarding, he's working at a skateboard shop in SoHo, NYC.

Black Dave was featured on The Break back in March 2013. Read his feature here.
