Pimp C’s Widow Holding Onto His Unreleased Verses for Megan Thee Stallion
We may be hearing a Megan Thee Stallion collaboration with the late Pimp C in the near future.
Following news of Megan's signing to Roc Nation for management on Friday (Sept. 13), Pimp C's widow Chinara Butler hopped on Instagram to congratulate her. Among her congratulatory words, she revealed that there are some Pimp C verses in the stash reserved just for Thee Stallion herself.
"#Fbf best news I have heard all week in my #boosiebadazz daughter voice I Told Y’all Niggas last year! Lol I know I star when I see one #Congratulations to my #TrillGodDaughter @theestallion now you you have everything you need with @rocnation as Management #Loveit," Chinara wrote with a repost of a video Megan had posted in December of 2018 when they first met. "And I’m hold on to a couple of Unreleased verses of #PimpC just for you!!!! Get’em #TinaSnow #HotGirlOfTheYear!!!! #Yessssss #texasgirls #TrillQueenTalk #megantheestallion #LongLiveThePimp."
Megan has often professed her love of Pimp C since the start of her career, and even adopted the moniker "Tina Snow" after Pimp C's "Tony Snow" alias.
Back in 2017, there were rumors of the entire UGK catalogue being destroyed in Hurricane Harvey, but those rumors proved to be false. They'd been sparked after Bun B's wife, Queenie, posted that Pimp C's son, Chad, was stuck in six feet of water at his grandmother's house, which contained the archives. A rep for Chinara later denied the entirety of their catalogue was destroyed and noted that the music is "in secured locations."
