Playboi Carti has been kinda quiet over the last couple of months. That may change soon. According to a couple of tweets from his go-to producer Pi'erre Bourne, the "Magnolia" rapper's debut album appears to be finished.

Friday (March 30), Bourne tweeted out, "Somebody from the label wants me to tweet Carti's albums done."

When Executive Vice President of Interscope Joie Manda got wind of the tweet, he responded "Who?" Bourne then simply replied "Me."

He didn't give anymore details on the pending release, but it will surely feature a Lil Uzi Vert reunion.

We are not even a year removed from the release of Carti's self-titled debut mixtape. The project birthed the hit single "Magnolia," which was arguably the song of the year in 2017. Most of the project was produced by Bourne, and both artists rode the wave of the release to other successes. Last year, Carti was named on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list.

Bourne is a hot commodity. He has recently worked with Drake and was one of the people Kanye West invited out to put in work on his new project in Wyoming.

It was recently announced Carti will be performing at the 2018 Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago along with Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Lil Uzi Vert, Logic, Gucci Mane, Post Malone, LL Cool J, Lil Pump, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Tyler, The Creator and more.
