Pharrell, Big Sean and Katy Perry Come Together for Calvin Harris’ New Song “Feels”
Calvin Harris is cooking up some serious heat for the summer season with his upcoming Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 album, and his latest release sees Pharrell, Big Sean and Katy Perry coming together to provide some hot new tunes. The hitmaker releases his new "Feels" song for fans, which sees the three superstars being recruited for the potential new anthem. Cop it on iTunes or stream it via Spotify below.
The new track hears Williams laying down some of his harmonic melodies alongside the female pop star, while Sean delivers some metaphor-filled bars over the upbeat instrumental. The song sounds like the perfect beach or road trip music for the current sunny season, and could easily become part of our summer soundtrack.
“I feel my old flings was just preparing me/When I say I want you, say it back, parakeet/Fly your first-class in the air, Air B&B/I’m the best you had, you’ll just be comparing me to me," Big Sean rhymes.
Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 will be giving DJ Khaled's upcoming Grateful album a run for its money, as both executive producers are recruiting star-studded lineups to grace their projects' tracklists. Harris has already released his successful single "Slide" with Frank Ocean and Migos, as well as "Rollin" with Khalid and Future and "Heatstroke" with Young Thug, Ariana Grande and Pharrell. The album is slated to release later this month on June 30.
