Pablo Skywalkin Grabs Lill Yachty for “Flex on Em” Remix

Pablo Skywalkin is one of the hottest street rappers in Detroit right now, and today he hooks up with the King of Teens Lil Yachty to remix "Flex on Em." You can spin the new track above.

Pablo went all the way back to 2013, when he first released the song, for this remix. It happened after he saw Yachty on Snapchat bumping the track. Pablo reached out and the rest was history.

The remix comes right before Pablo drops his new project Still Rich, the latest of a catalog that includes Born Rich (2013), Raised Around Bosses (2014), The Underdawg Story (2016) and The Chosen One (2016). You can pre-order Still Rich on iTunes before it drops tomorrow (Sept. 16). The lone feature on the tape is the one and only E-40, demonstrating how Pablo's appeal has expanded to the west coast.

Pablo is one in a string of rappers who have dominated Detroit's street circuit in recent years, including Icewear Vezzo, the late, great Blade Icewood, and the city's premier group Doughboyz Cashout. The sound is defined by hard-hitting, propulsive beats and nimble, narrative raps, drawing a recognizable link to Bay Area hip-hop.
